Mairi Orr plays Clashmore Hall on 21st May

Mairi Orr will confirm her strong Dornoch connection, when she performs the title track of her new CD "Jenny Does Burn" - that tells the tragic story of Janet Horne, the last person to be burnt in Scotland for practising witchcraft and commemorated by the Witch's Stone. The concert takes place the the Carnegie Hall, Clashmore on Saturday 28 May. Doors open at 19:00 for 19:30 start. Tickets are £10 (£6 concession) from Mitchells Chemist (01862 810253) or on the door.
Mairi is joined by Ross Martin (Daimh) and Eilidh Shaw (The Poozies) to provide an excitng blend of musical styles, interspersing original songs with choice picks from Americana.
