From the Northern Times
Police in Sutherland are appealing for information following two break-ins at commercial premises in the Dornoch area in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Officers have received reports of entry being forced to two neighbouring units at the Meadows Business Park at about 3am.
Significant damage was caused to both properties during the incident.
Inspector Jamie Wilson said: “This is an unusual event for Dornoch and I can assure the public that extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
“I would appeal to anyone who saw any people or vehicles acting suspiciously around that time or who has any information about the incident to come forward.
“They can call the Alness CID office on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they prefer to remain anonymous.”
