Dornoch Hub finalist in SURF awards

The Dornoch Hub was a finalist in the Community Led Regeneration category so Joan Bishop and Paula White attended the awards dinner on 8th December. The well deserved winner in our category was a small community of 340 in Bressay (one of the Shetland Isles).  When their school was closed, they rallied to buy the building and create their own community hub which now attracts visitors as well as locals.

However, we are included in the publication below and will be involved in sharing our experience with other groups in Scotland.

We shared our table with the Elgin Youth Development Group who run an employability programme and Tomintoul & Glenlivet Housing Affordable Housing, so a pleasant evening was had by all.
