Information wanted on the Embo Fishing Fleet

Do you have any information about the last Embo fishing fleet ? We would love to hear from anyone who knows the local history of the fleet and the circumstances of its demise.

We are holding an open session in Dornoch Social Club, Sunday 9th February 3pm.Drop in from 3pm to share your memories, photographs and stories with archaeologists from St Andrews University, the Nautical Archaeology Society, and members of the North of Scotland Archaeology Society.

This will be followed at 5pm with a talk by Steve Liscoe (NAS) about historic fishing vessels and the Loch Fleet remains. The talk is FREE and everyone is welcome.
